Tutoring

STEP tutoring focuses on strengthening students' abilities in all subjects of math and science covered in junior high and high schools. STEP students are placed with tutors who are undergraduate and graduate students at Syracuse University. Students who enroll in STEP tutorials will receive academic support in a small group setting--typically two students for each tutor. All STEP tutors have a strong background in math and science, as well as experience tutoring junior high and high school students.

Tutoring for students attending high school in the Syracuse City School District takes place on weekday afternoons at each school where it is requested. Saturday tutorials are available for all other students. Saturday tutorials are held in Huntington Hall immediately after the Saturday Learning Academy.
