Collaborative Partnerships

The STEP Program is recognized by many as a program that allows talented middle and high school students get an early start on their college preparation and to do well in math, science, and technology. To help with process, STEP establishes and maintains relationships with many academic departments, student and community based organizations.

The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) is jointly sponsored by Syracuse University and the New York State Education Department. It is an enrichment program designed to foster a student's academic success in preparing for professional licensure or careers in the scientific, technical, or health-related fields.

Rebecca Lee Pre Health Society is a pre-health organization based on promoting and encouraging a diverse group of pre-health students to graduate, medical and dental schools. One of our main goals is to outreach to our community through service and mentoring. We are also a branch of the Students National Medical Association and a chapter of MAPS.

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is the largest, non-profit, student-run organization in the country. The National Pre-College Initiative Program was created in 1988. NSBE's Pre-College Initiative (PCI) program provides a formal vehicle through which NSBE collegiate and alumni members encourage students in grades K-12 to develop interest and skills in math and science. This program is designed to broaden the pool of high school students, who are both well prepared and highly motivated, for academic and professional careers in engineering and technology.

Center for Public and Community Service (CPCS). The mission of CPCS is to promote, support, facilitate, and recognize public and community service as a fundamental part of the teaching and learning experience for Syracuse University students, faculty and staff.

College of Engineering and Computer Science PRIDE Program is to challenge and support students with experiences and opportunities that will ensure their success well beyond the Syracuse University campus. PRIDE supports all students in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, with a particular emphasis on women and students of color.
